Why I drew a line at ten miles

The ten miles is about traffic, honestly. Inside that radius I can walk into a home unhurried, spend ninety unrushed minutes, and get to the next one without the day compressing.

Outside it, the drive is real work, so there's a travel fee that pays for the time rather than quietly borrowing it from the session.

I'd rather name the cost than let it show up as a rushed walkthrough.
